Nurse educators and preceptors!

Jessica is a 20-year nursing veteran, currently serving as Associate Chief Nurse of Nursing Services for a large national hospital system with a master's degree in healthcare education. Her previous posting was Chief of Education.  Jessica is dedicated to reviewing curriculum and content to ensure that it is following best evidence-based practices. A mother of two, her passion is leadership and education in healthcare. 

Nate is a 24 year veteran of the fire service and a 20-year critical care paramedic as well as former Public Safety Chief. Still working, he is passionate about leadership and believes in the curriculum "because it works." Nate is quoted as saying, "take one step toward change and it'll take two steps toward you."  Nate is our lead instructor and has been instrumental in using these same mentorship and evaluation models in the Fire/EMS service and has been published as a content expert with his views of mentorship. 

Kent has been a firefighter for 25 years, retiring in June of 2024 as a Battalion Chief in the Metro Lansing, MI area and a Paramedic for 30 years. Kent is a renowned instructor in the local Fire and EMS world for his ability to deliver content in a relevant way with a focus on recognition primed decision making and the normalization of deviance. Kent is also instrumental on the third day of class at helping individuals write evaluation guidelines. 

Alyssa has been an Occupational Therapist for 15 years, having graduated Western Michigan University (Go Broncos) with her Masters Degree.  Currently, Alyssa works with pediatric patients with a focus on education for the parents. Alyssa is known for her educational techniques and advocacy for her patients.  Alyssa is a mother of two girls and comes to the In-House Solutions team having observed the consistent need for Hospital based healthcare's need to stay relevant and to deliver the best. 

All other associate instructors are heavily vetted.  They have to be able to deliver the content and be subject matter experts and be directly tied to hospital based healthcare.
